Some historian genealogist have stated that these woman and man are possibly metis; Marguerite Langlois (1611?), Anne Martin/Matchonon (1614), Françoise Grenier (Garnier), Jeanne DeVoisy (Roussy, micmac), Guillaume Hebert (1604). see Metis view of Québec history (these informations on metis are not confirmed yet and there is controversy about them at Nation Autochtone du Québec).

Thierry Des Dames is godfather of (II)-Marguerite Martin, a girl of (I)-Abraham Martin, in 1624, Kebec . Marguerite Lesage, wife of (I)-Nicolas Pivert is godmother to (II)-Marguerite Martin. reference
